A white sky that was familiar
No interuptions of change
All was the same accept one spot
that was just barely diffrent from the rest
so close to conformity
yet so far away
You can't hide what you are
I see the change in you
Blend in just enough
But you never lost yourself
Do you wonder why
You're not like everyone else?
The world seems like it's sleeping
When was the day you woke up?
The fog lifted and cleared away
And you pushed through the daily haze
How many years did it take
To open your childlike eyes
And see this forsaken world
While the rest hid their faces
Do you feel alone
In your liberation
A black dot
Against a white sky
You can't hide what you are
I see the change in you

"I saw this spot on my grandmothers ceiling, it looked similar to the rest but in a way was diffrent. I realized it was like a person in society. There are those who are the same, and then those who are diffrent but try to blend in regardless, just like that spot....Don't lose yourself."
